The goal of TZ Remodels is to not only to design, build, or remodel, but to make the process as easy as possible by dealing with one person who is knowledgeable and experienced in a wide variety of project types. TZ Remodels is operated by a working contractor and civil engineering graduate with a range of experience to complete your project efficiently and effectively. TZ Remodels, Inc performs a project start to finish and along the way makes suggestions to ensure that it is done the way that works best for the owners.
A licensed contractor since 2001, TZ Remodels has completed numerous remodels in San Diego County including a two story addition project single-handedly from design to construction and final inspection. Too often, the person holding the contractors' license is sitting in an office while the inexperienced are working on your project. I set myself apart by having a college education, a strong construction background, and being courteous, friendly, and professional. I care about what I am doing, am respectful and cognizant of working in someone's home, and am more affordable than the other guys.

As you can probably tell, I am not a website designer, but what I do excel at is home remodeling, whether it be kitchen or bathroom or another type of project.
My favorite type of projects are kitchen remodels, bathroom remodeling, tile installation such as tile backsplash, and home remodeling like room additions. The transformation from an outdated 30 year old kitchen or bathroom to a brand new room is job satisfaction.
Remodeling bathroom ideas and general remodeling ideas usually are initiated from customers who have a general idea of what they want. I can add to your project with some thoughts from past design experience.

Bathroom addition-
Cored through foundation for sanitary plumbing and installed bathtub, toilet vanity, floor tile, and partition walls in accessory building in homeowner's backyard.
Kitchen remodel and flooring project:
Full kitchen remodel including replacement of cabinets, hi-macs (like corian) countertops, center island, lighting, and unique flooring design. Photo of island and flooring.
Bathroom remodel showing tumbled marble and rock tub surround with new cast iron tub.
Fireplace project Stucco over brick and fabrication and installation of custom mantle. Also installed 16" tile flooring throughout home.
Closet conversion:
Replaced closet door to gain a niche with drawers and shelves.
Installation of 24 inch dishwasher where previously only cabinets were provided in kitchen.
Another appliance project - 36 inch hood previously installed and replaced with a 30 inch microwave/hood combination. (Picture before staining wood to match)
Masterbath vanity remodel involved matching a magazine photo of a bathroom vanity resulting in custom built cabinets with custom built-in medicine cabinets and corian countertop.
Shower scene - Replaced tub with shower with dual heads and valves including decorative medallion. I am grouting the walls in the photo.
Bathroom remodel with black granite top, glass vessel sink, divider pony wall next to commode, and wall sconce lighting.

New 32" kohler acrylic tub, new price pfister valve, travertine surround with listello and 24x24 travertine flooring. Restoration hardware lighting, single sink vanity with travertine top and undermount sink.
Removed wall and recessed 4x12 beam in ceiling where wall was and hung ceiling joists to open space between kitchen and living room. Photo showing temporary walls.
